This is one of my favorite pre-workout mixtures that I've tried in a long time, this comes from several months of intermittent usage to analyze the associated pros and cons, as well as, measure how this holds up long-term. With that premise in mind, here are some of my declared thoughts:A) Subjective Effectiveness: With a mere 150 mg of caffeine, this is certainly not a con at all in my mind, as all too often the mark or threshold is 200-300 mg of caffeine which is obscene unless you are in a heavy-lifting session, so this was a welcomed aspect of this pre-workout. In terms of the workout mix itself while in use, I didn't experience or notice any 'caffeine drops' as the sustainment of energy was felt into the post-workout phase. This will vary person to person though, as dependent on your caffeine sensitivity, as well as that for other associated elements/ingredients within this mix, this could vary overtime. Overall, I've enjoyed this workout, as for its intended use I've had no issues whatsoever.B) Flavor & Taste: This is a review of the Strawberry Kiwi, namely, this is a flavor that admittedly wouldn't have initially struck me as a palette of interest, however, it actually holds up quite well aside from my initial reluctancies. I haven't had any issues with after-taste lingering, which is a somewhat common issue in this space, but this was a non-issue for me making this quite easy to consume as a pre-workout for the gym. I've enjoyed the taste though, as it isn't overly sweetened (artificially) and meets what I'd consider as the middle-ground, again to reiterate, this is a big-win for this product, as all to often there is a fine balance between something tasting 'good' and actually having the desired ingredients/content to remain effective while in the gym.C) Packaging, Marketing, and Presence: The packaging materials are certainly aligned with industry trends, as high contrast fonts and such are utilized quite well here, but there aren't any alarming substances or quality of control issues that I have to take note of which is a good thing to take note of. As for the serving size, at 40 servings per container, this represents a solid value overall, as alittle over a $1 per serving isn't bad at all especially as pricier variants/competitors often are $2-3 per serving; this will of course all come down to preference and intended usage cases, as for myself this is a high quality supplement and I'd be intrigued to see how the other flavors stack up against the Strawberry Kiwi.
Purchase through Vine for the caffeine part of a pre workout. I have cut soda out of my diet, and been using a pre workout for morning energy. This works well, and tastes great! I have had no issues with my stomach or jitters. Provides longer lasting energy, and focus for the day! Would look to purchase again, and even try other flavors!!
My son likes it. He mixes it with just water before his workout. He said it mixed good and tasted fine, which for a teenage boy I was happy with an answer at all. lol
BLACKLABEL Supplements PRE-Game Pre Workout Powder, Strawberry Kiwi (40 Servings) – NSF Certified for Sport – Customizable 150mg Caffeine for Energy & Focus – Low-Stimulant Pre Workout for Men WomenThis has a bit of a strong flavor. With only containing 150mg of caffeine, this has been a good for a little pick me up or a light workout. There has been no noticeable crash after taking.
I recently was able to try out this BlackLabel Pre-game pre-workout supplement. I enjoyed the easy of mix and strawberry taste. This mix dissolves mostly smooth. I did find the caffeine slightly lacking, but might be due to my high tolerance. I didn't feel any jittery or increase in heart rate, while taking this product in the mornings as a energy boost/ wake me up drink. When I drank the mix at night, within 6 hours of sleep, it did not keep me awake. Pricewise, this mix is about $1 per serving, which I find fair, for coffee and energy drinks are pricier than that.Overall, I did enjoy this product as a quick mental clarity boost in the mornings. I did have an energy drink or two thought-out the day, but that didn't seem to interfere with the caffein already in this mix.
